Deceased Name: MORRIS P. WEINBERG Morris P. Weinberg, 65, of Kettering, Ohio, a native of
Duluth died suddenly of a heart attack Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, while
vacationing in Antigua with his wife. He was retired from a career in retailing and was the
Elder-Beerman buyer of televisions and electronics for 20 years. He was a
former member of the Air National Guard in Duluth. He was affectionately known as ''Ohio Rocky'' because of
his lapidary hobby. He cut and polished stones, making them into gifts that
he loved giving away. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and June
Weinberg of Duluth. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sherill; a son,
Greg (Joy) Weinberg of Kettering; a daughter, Suzanne (Ron) Brizzi of
Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Sandra Marsyla of Eagan, Minn.; grandsons Joshua and
Christopher; and a granddaughter, Jessica. Family receives friends: 5 until the 7 p.m. memorial
service Thursday in Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane,
Kettering. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the
